Just before Christmas, I got an email request for something other than a wedding invitation. While it was not a wedding invite, it was for another momentous occasion– the 30th birthday bash for Jennifer and Shannon. They loved my "It's a date!" invites, and wanted the same design in postcard form for their party.
Here is the original wedding save the date folded card:
This is how I changed it to a postcard for their party:

This is what Jennifer had to say,
"A BIG thank you for designing our 30th birthday postcards! We have gotten so many compliments and we were so proud to send these out. Working with you was so easy and appreciate all your time and effort. Also..I cannot thank you enough for taking timeout of the busy Holiday Season to get these done so quickly. Wish you all the best and will contact you in the future for other projects." – Jennifer

Busy, busy, busy!
I am now officially 2 weeks behind on getting a testimonial up. I assure you, I will get back in the groove of things. I've been so busy giving estimates and doing some quick turn-around jobs for some anxious brides, that it's all slipped by. A couple weeks ago, I worked the Columbus Bridal Show with a very talented photographer (and friend!)Kimberly Potterf and Tiffany, who was one of her brides and an excellent representative of Kim's work. If you need a photographer--she's amazing AND she will travel. :)
On top of that, I am gathering invitations to shoot and putting some samples together to restock my etsy shop.
I hope that 2009 is as busy and fulfilling as 2008 was--if not more! I was fortunate enough to work with 53 couples this past year, congrats to all of you who have tied the knot. To those of you who are on the home-stretch, let me know if you need any final touches for your big day!

Columbus Bridal Show
I will be at the Columbus Bridal Show at Vet's Memorial this weekend representing my friend, and VERY talented wedding photographer, Kimberly Potterf. For 2009, Kim and I are going to team up to offer guest books filled with her amazing work and my invitation designs. I will try to get some photos posted here for you to see them, they really are beautiful--and such a great keepsake, rather than the traditional style guest books that most people go with.
Kim will have her photography portfolio for you to see, along with one of her custom books with my matching invitations. Please come say hi!
