Postage going up to 44¢ on May 11!

Get full information on the rate change USPS website. So, that means you have until may 10th to buy the "Liberty Bell" stamps at the current 42¢ rate. After that, they will go up 2¢.

In the past, I've done custom stamps using art from the invitation. You can get them on a few sites, but I have had good luck with zazzle. They are not offering .44¢ postage just yet–so hold off on ordering anything special to avoid cluttering your pretty envelopes with penny postage. Unless you are going to get them in the mail in the next six weeks, of course.

That's just my 2¢. :)

Featured Testimonial: Sarah

I absolutely love the story that goes along with this save the date. Sarah and Chad met at a furniture store, where he was shopping for some things to outfit his bachelor pad. Sarah worked at the store and was there visiting another co-worker when she was introduced to Chad. The two hit it off, and well...here they are! Chad bought the chair he was looking at the day they met and now it is a part of their save the date postcard. How cute is that?

Here's what Sarah and Chad had to say:
"We want to thank you for being so patient with us while we waited for the pictures from our photographer, and that you worked with us on the picture that we had selected for our save the dates. We love them! We greatly appreciate that we received them so quickly so that we were able to mail them out before we went on vacation. Thanks so much. We will definitely be recommending our friends and family to you for any announcement needs."

Kimberly Potterf Photography

I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with my VERY TALENTED friend, Kimberly Potterf. I wanted to have some new photos taken for my website, and it gave Kim and I an excuse to roam around the city to explore some spots on a perfectly sunny afternoon.

Rather than posting them all here, I invite you to visit Kim's blog to take a look. While you are there, check out all her work...the girl has got talent! She does more than weddings, so if you're already hitched and want some nice portraits--give her a call. She does a wonderful job with making you feel comfortable--and she is a good dog walker too.

Thanks Kim!

Getting a facelift

March has kept me busy to say the least. Between work, weddings and the recent beautiful weather that has caused me to throw LOTS of balls for Pete...I haven't had a lot of time to devote to my blog. However, you will be seeing changes around here soon, but first things first- I have updated my header on my blog and etsy shop. But, no worries...it's still me. :)

I owe a testimonial, and I promise it will be up soon. I am excited about my new photography, and will be showing some of it off along with some of your kind words.

Thank you all!

New Photography in my etsy shop!

I can't even tell you how busy the last few weeks have been. My evenings have been spent getting all my May weddings designed, printed, packed and shipped! The new website is in the works and part of that process has been getting all my invitations photographed. As I receive images, I am updating my etsy shop--and it's ALMOST done! I am thrilled with how they are coming out.

Go check them out and maybe buy a sample!

Thank you to all my brides who have passed on my name and all the kind words. 2009 is going to be an exciting year!
